Ms Obuobia Darko-Opoku emphasised that the Fund is focused on strengthening local healthcare delivery and does not finance treatment abroad, noting that funds spent on one overseas patient could support about twenty patients in-country .

BOSTenergies has donated GH₵1 million to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF), a move that will directly finance life-saving treatment for Ghanaians battling chronic and life-threatening illnesses, including cancer, kidney failure, and heart conditions."The Ghana Medical Trust Fund is providing hope to people who had almost given up, and we are proud to support this noble national initiative," Mr Awoonor stated .
