Amelley Djosu: PR is not propaganda; Ghana’s music industry needs a professional reset

The publicist who spends years defending questionable claims on behalf of one artist may eventually leave that camp and apply for another communications role.

Every time a PR professional knowingly puts questionable information into the public domain, they are also spending their own professional credibility.

Its current code requires members to maintain professional integrity, deal honestly and fairly with clients, colleagues and the public, and uphold the reputation of the PR profession.
