100-bed Atiwa Trauma Hospital to be commissioned in January 2027

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced that the 100-bed trauma hospital at Anyinam in the Atewa East Constituency is expected to be commissioned in January 2027.“I have done the needful, and I know the Minister is going to firm it up to tell us that come the end of January she’ll come with me to my constituency to hand over the 100-bed trauma hospital to the people of Atewa East,” she said.
The assurance places January 2027 as the latest target for the completion and handover of the facility, which is expected to provide trauma care services to residents of Atewa East and surrounding communities.
