Bikers of Africa rev up against GBV in Pretoria

Bikers joined mass ride against GBV Martins Antonio, the president of the Sapa Yopa Motorcycle Club, which is recognised as one of the largest and most prominent motorcycle clubs in Africa, said the summit was very successful.“We close Bikers Summit 2026 with a mass ride dedicated to all the women in South Africa,” he said.

When the clock struck midday on Saturday, parts of Pretoria came to a standstill as bikers from motorcycle clubs from all over Africa joined in a mass ride from the CBD to Mamelodi, to pledge their support against gender-based violence (GBV) and femicide.
