Two people have been confirmed dead while five others sustained injuries following a fatal road crash that triggered a fire at Birimso Bridge on the Accra–Kumasi Highway (N6) in the Eastern Region.
The Ghana National Fire Service said seven people, comprising two females and five males, were involved in the crash.
According to the Eastern Regional Fire Command, the fuel tanker, the STC bus and the Mitsubishi Pick-Up were completely destroyed by the ensuing fire, while the KIA Sorento sustained extensive damage.
