Sissala East Assembly supports PWDs with GH¢280,000 package

Addressing beneficiaries at a brief ceremony in Tumu to present the items, Adamu Yakubu, Sissala East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), urged them to put the support to productive use to improve their living conditions and become economically self-reliant.

Alhassan Huaru, Presiding Member of the Sissala East Municipal Assembly, commended the government and the Assembly for increasing the disability share of the Common Fund from three per cent to five per cent.

Nuhu Alhassan, Sissala East Municipal Social Welfare Officer, urged the beneficiaries to invest the resources wisely to multiply them and establish sustainable sources of livelihood.
