Accra July 29, GNA – The delegates-based electoral college system used by political parties in Ghana to elect Presidential or parliamentary candidates has been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
It therefore declared that not later than one year from today, political parties must establish a system for selecting presidential and parliamentary candidates that would enable all registered members in good standing , as determined by the party to vote.
