Police grab 6 highway robbers, retrieve GH¢300,000 cash 

“Police Counter Terrorism personnel together with the local Police Patrol team pursued the fleeing suspects into the bush and arrested all four suspects, namely Abdul Rahman Mashud, age 21, Asigri Avoka, age 25, Awini Stephen age 19, Faisal Salifu age 26,” it said.

All six suspects - Abdul Sadat Ali, 24; Samad Issahaka, 24; Abdul Rahman Mashud, 21; Asigri Avoka, 25; Awini Stephen, 19 and Faisal Salifu, 26, have been detained and are assisting the police with investigations.“The Ghana Police Service commends the alertness and professionalism of the personnel on duty, as well as the Counter Terrorism team for their support in effecting the arrests and assures the Public of our continued commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all persons and property within the Bono East Region,” it emphasised.
