Police arrest 6 suspected robbers, recover GH¢300k stolen at Portor-Gurumpe highway
The Bono East Regional Police Command has arrested six suspects believed to be involved in a highway robbery incident on the Portor-Gurumpe Highway and recovered GH¢300,000 allegedly stolen from a victim.
Personnel from the Police Counter Terrorism Unit, together with the local patrol team, pursued the fleeing suspects into the bush and arrested the remaining four suspects identified as Abdul Rahman Mashud, 21; Asigri Avoka, 25; Awini Stephen, 19; and Faisal Salifu, 26.
