Interior Minister promises police recruitment slots for families of victims in Sefwi Sayerano shooting

Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has announced that the government will offer police recruitment opportunities to families who lost relatives during the police shooting at Sefwi Sayerano in the Western North Region.

The announcement came when the Interior Minister, accompanied by the Minister for Health and Member of Parliament for Sefwi Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, ed the bereaved families and the community following the tragic incident.

Following the shooting, the Ghana Police Service interdicted eight officers who were allegedly involved in the incident pending the outcome of investigations.
