High Court approves freezing of Miracles Aboagye’s assets by EOCO

State prosecutors sought the freezing order to prevent the potential dissipation of assets that could be vital to the developing case, which recently saw Aboagye released on a GH¢50 million bail bond.

Despite the intense legal scrutiny, Miracles Aboagye who also previously served as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapem North, has maintained his innocence and recently declared his bid to contest as the NPP’s National Communications Director.

The legal action is on the back of an ongoing investigation into the management of state funds during Aboagye’s tenure as a Presidential Staffer and the Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation (IMCCoD).
