EOCO to arraign detained Manhyia South MP before weekend court

The announcement follows the MP’s voluntary surrender to EOCO on Thursday, October 1, 2026, after the Accra High Court issued a warrant for his arrest and authorised the agency to search for and seize documents relevant to its investigation.
The High Court also authorised EOCO to search the MP’s office and other premises for documents considered relevant to the investigation.“Mindful of the applicable constitutional timeframes and procedural requirements governing bail, the Office is fervently working with the Office of the Attorney-General to bring the Suspect before a weekend court,” EOCO said.
