Abuakwa South communities get digital training centre

“Since digital learning is becoming common in our cities, why should our children in rural communities not also understand technology and benefit from its importance in education and future careers", she stated, adding that the centre was established to bridge the gap between rural dwellers and the opportunities of the digital age by bringing technology closer to communities through digital learning that is practical, exciting and relevant.
It was put up by a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Care for Society Network International (CfSNI), STAR Ghana Foundation and the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) through the financial support of Comic Relief and the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom.
