The East Cairo Public Prosecution ordered a four-day detention pending investigation against a Sudanese co-pilot on Tuesday for possessing “Ice” (crystal methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.

Airport security officers intercepted the Sudanese passenger—who works as a co-pilot for a Sudanese airline—carrying the drug and paraphernalia before he could board a flight operated by his own company.

The Public Prosecution ordered his detention for four days pending investigation and directed that he undergo a forensic drug test.
