World Diplomatic Organization moves to assert its status as the only globally acclaimed diplomatic institution

The World Diplomatic Organization (WDO), an international diplomatic institution headquartered in London, has become involved in a name-related dispute in 2025 concerning the registration and public use of a closely similar corporate name by an unrelated private entity in the United Kingdom.

In its written response, the agency stated that the name was considered “too like” World Diplomatic Organization (WDO) Ltd, which was already on the Registrar’s Index of company names at the time of registration.

The advisory stated that the entity using a similar name was not recognised by the legitimate World Diplomatic Organization (WDO) and recommended that stakeholders consult official channels for verification.
