Carlos Quieroz leaves Black Stars head coach role after World Cup exit

Portuguese trainer Carlos Queiroz has resigned from his role as head coach of the Black Stars following the team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup exit.”Following their World Cup elimination, the Black Stars are expected to return to action again in September when the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations begin.

Following the team’s elimination , the Portuguese, who was appointed weeks before the World Cup, has announced his decision to leave the Ghanaian job.
