SMT Ghana supports Akropong School for Blind

Two members of the school’s donation committee, Joseph Sowuh and Maxwell Asante Oware, who received the items on behalf of the school, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to SMT Ghana for the generous donation, noting that the braille materials would play a vital role in enhancing academic work, improving access to learning resources and empowering students to achieve their full potential despite their visual impairment.

SMT Ghana has donated braille sheets and bags of rice to the Akropong School for the Blind in the Eastern Region." The Managing Director of SMT Ghana also shared the inspiring story of Hakim Arezki, a French blind football (Cécifoot) player of Algerian origin, whose journey from losing his sight to becoming an international athlete demonstrated that challenges should not limit one's dreams.
