Russia, Ghana explore cooperation in nuclear energy, fertiliser production and mining

Russia and Ghana are exploring deeper economic cooperation in key sectors including nuclear energy, agriculture and mining, with Moscow expressing interest in supporting local production and joint resource development initiatives.

The Russian Embassy in Ghana said a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had been signed between the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) and Russia’s state nuclear energy corporation, Rosatom, creating a foundation for potential future collaboration in the energy sector."In the energy sector, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and Rosatom, laying the groundwork for potential future cooperation," the Embassy posted on social media.
