Population growth outpacing Ghana’s health infrastructure – Physician   

Dr Henry Bulley Dr Henry Bulley, Head of the Accident and Emergency Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, says Ghana’s health infrastructure is struggling to keep pace with population growth, leaving major referral hospitals overstretched.

He also called for improved rehabilitation and mental health support within emergency care, particularly for accident victims and their families.

We need greater investment in infrastructure, personnel and support services to ensure the health system keeps pace with the country’s growing population,” he said.
