Okaikwei North MP secures contract for Kissiman bridge reconstruction
The MP among other stakeholders Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikwei North Constituency, Theresa Lardi Awuni has secured government approval for the expansion and reconstruction of the Kissiman Bridge, 30 years after the project was abandoned.
The Ministry of Works and Housing and the Urban Roads Authority awarded the contract following sustained lobbying by the MP, who has pushed for urgent intervention on the bridge due to perennial flooding and safety concerns.
