MoMo, GHIPSS helps drivers build safer, formal and inclusive transport businesses

The Ride with MoMo campaign forms part of MobileMoney Fintech LTD’s broader contribution to national development by driving financial inclusion, supporting safer transport payments and helping commercial drivers move from informal cash-based transactions to more structured digital business practices.
A statement issued in Accra and signed by Paapa Osei, the Head, Legal & Reputation Management, MobileMoney Fintech Limited, said it brought together ride-hailing drivers, transport unions, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, the Motor Traffic and Transport Department, the National Communications Authority, financial institutions and other stakeholders, to promote the MoMo Merchant Wallet and GhQR as practical tools for bringing transport payments into the formal digital economy.
