NASPA clarifies GH¢60 deduction, says fee was meant to be GH¢15 monthly

“Based on this progress, NASPA formally requested the National Service Authority to facilitate a reduction of GH¢60 to represent the duration of the training over a four-month learning period, that is, GH¢15 per month,” the association stated.

The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has clarified that the GH¢60 deducted from the allowances of service personnel was not originally intended to be paid at once.

The suspension follows public criticism of a GH¢60 deduction from the allowances of some service personnel, who argued that they were not adequately consulted before the deductions were made.
