Michael Blackson’s claims on late mother’s care inaccurate – UGMC

“Out of respect for the dignity of the deceased and the privacy of her family, we will not disclose or discuss in the public domain the details of any patient's diagnosis, treatment, medical records, or account of care,” the Centre stated.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, August 5, UGMC extended its condolences to Mr Blackson and his family following the death of his 83-year-old mother at the facility on July 16, 2026.
