GETFund secures private funding for GH¢18.7m Achimota dormitory project

The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has cut sod for the construction of a 250-bed boys' dormitory block with a courtyard at Achimota School after securing GH¢18.7 million in private funding through its Education Financing and Partnership Initiative (EFPI).

The project is being fully financed by Saka Homes, owned by Achimota School old student Ebenezer Kwadwo Saka Addo-Mensah, making the company the first to fully sponsor a project under the GETFund initiative.
