Gabonese President honours Rawlings' legacy

In a solemn display of Pan-African solidarity, Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema paid homage to former President Jerry John Rawlings at the military cemetery in Burma Camp yesterday, where he laid a wreath on the tombstone of the former President as part of his three-day official ."President Rawlings' commitment, leadership and attachment to the ideals of sovereignty, justice and progress will continue to inspire present and future generations," the Gabonese leader declared, his voice echoing across the manicured grounds of the military cemetery.
