Akyem Sagyimase enstools Nana Afia Ofosua Danquah I as Queen Mother

What began with her acceptance of a traditional leadership role has now evolved into a broader commitment to delivering lasting social impact through initiatives that place education, empowerment and community welfare at the heart of development.

The people of Akyem Sagyimase officially enstooled Nyarko Patricia Ofosua as Nana Afia Ofosua Danquah I, Queen Mother of Akyem Sagyimase and Okyeman Nifaaman Baamuhemaa, on February 8, 2025, ushering in a new era of traditional leadership centred on community development and social transformation.

Its mission is to unite and support queen mothers in championing community development through advocacy, leadership, social welfare, cultural preservation and strategic partnerships that improve the lives of women, children and vulnerable persons.
