ADRA Ghana donates relief items, calls for sustainable recovery support for June 29 flood victims

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Ghana has called for a shift from emergency relief to long-term recovery support for families affected by the June 29 floods, saying many victims now face the challenge of rebuilding their homes and livelihoods.

Speaking at the presentation, ADRA Ghana Country Director, Dr Isaac Kankam-Boadu, said although emergency relief remains critical, sustainable recovery should focus on helping affected families regain their livelihoods.

As recovery efforts continue, ADRA Ghana says sustained partnerships and livelihood support will be critical to helping affected families rebuild their lives.
