Renowned Ghanaian cleric, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has bemoaned the leadership deficit across Africa, stressing the urgent need for visionary and selfless leaders to steer the continent away from stagnation and backwardness.

The Founder and General Overseer of Action Chapel International expressed concern over persistent political and economic setbacks in several African countries, despite the continent's abundant natural resources and potential. "When you look at some of the crises on our continent, it just doesn't make sense.

I don't want to mention names of countries, but it just doesn't make sense for us to retrogress with all that we have," he lamented on The Point of View with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV.

Duncan-Williams emphasized that Africa's struggles are not due to a lack of resources but a lack of purposeful leadership.
