Ghana and Japan have signed a landmark bilateral agreement to bolster educational cooperation, promote sustainable development, and equip students with essential green and digital skills for the future.
The agreement was formalized in Tokyo by Ghana's Minister for Education, , and representatives from Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
The agreement aims to foster inclusive, high-quality education and ensure that education in both countries aligns with global goals for sustainability and technological advancement.
Speaking at the brief ceremony, described the agreement as "strategic and transformative," emphasizing its alignment with Ghana's Education Strategic Plan (ESP 2018-2030) and its goal of building a knowledge-driven economy.
