A high-risk cybercrime crackdown in the Greater Accra Region has led to the arrest of 25 Nigerian nationals suspected of running a sophisticated fraud operation.
The raid, conducted on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Sasaabi area near Dodowa, was a joint effort between the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), the Ghana Police Cybercrime Unit, and the CID.
Authorities acted swiftly after receiving a distress alert from the Computer Emergency Response Team - Ghana (CERT-GH).
The tip came from a Nigerian national who reported being held against his will and forced to engage in cyber fraud.
