The Court of Appeal in Kumasi has nullified the authority of Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as Ga Mantse.
The Court of Appeal gave this judgment in an appeal on a High Court ruling which indicated that Nii Tackie Adama Latse II was the Ga Mantse.
The decision of the High Court was challenged in the Court of Appeal in 2021, and an injunction was granted to prevent Nii Adama Latse II from holding himself as Ga Mantse in the National House of Chiefs and another party.
The Court of Appeal reportedly dismissed the challenge to the High Court ruling by a unanimous 3-0 decision.
