Suzy Adwoa Pinamang, the second-year student of Adventist Senior High School at Bantama, who was accidentally shot in the eye by a classmate, has arrived in the United Kingdom to undergo emergency medical treatment.
Suzy touched down in the UK on Saturday, May 10, 2025, accompanied by one caregiver.
She is also joined by Rafik Mahama, the Special Aide to , who is sponsoring the entire cost of her travel and medical treatment.
This follows a recommendation from doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, and Agarwal Eye Hospital in Accra, who confirmed that she had sustained severe injuries to her eyes and required urgent specialist care abroad.
