The Ashanti North Regional Police Command has arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of Eric Obeng Darko, the former headmaster of Dampong Senior High School in the Ashanti Region.
The suspects, identified as 38-year-old Mubarak Mohammed and 48-year-old Prophetess Elizabeth Darkwah, were arrested on June 9 and 17, respectively.
They have since been arraigned before the district courts in Kodie and Suame and remanded into police custody.
According to preliminary police investigations, the incident stems from a fraudulent scheme initiated in 2024, in which Prophetess Darkwah allegedly convinced the deceased to part with an unspecified sum of money.
