Daniel Krull, the German Ambassador to Ghana, has paid a courtesy visit on the Minister of Climate Change and Sustainability, Seidu Issifu, to discuss Ghana's climate agenda and explore opportunities for collaboration.

The visit was also an opportunity for Ambassador Krull to congratulate the minister on his historic appointment as the first Minister of Climate Change and Sustainability, describing it as a bold and visionary move by the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama. "This appointment demonstrates Ghana's commitment to tackling climate change with a dedicated and strategic approach.

Germany remains a strong partner in this journey, offering support through financing facilities and initiatives that promote climate resilience and sustainability," the ambassador said.

During their discussions, the two leaders reflected on the longstanding cooperation between Ghana and Germany, particularly in areas of climate adaptation, mitigation, and sustainable development.
