The Member of of South Dayi, , has extended an apology to Minority Leader, , over remarks he made concerning the use of police outriders by government officials.

According to a report by 3news.com, Dafeamekpor offered the apology during a recent appearance on TV3's Key Points, acknowledging that his comments may have overstepped certain boundaries. "He [Afenyo-Markin] is my leader, I may have crossed the line a bit, so for that, I apologise.

But these were matters I was saying in a general context, and I was juxtaposing conduct before now with conduct that is ongoing," he stated.

The MP further explained that his concern was not about occasional use but about the broader issue of how such privileges are exercised.
