The Assembly Members of Jomoro Municipality in the Western Region have overwhelmingly confirmed the Assembly Member for the Nawule electoral area, Benedict Boadi, as the Jomoro Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
He was nominated by President John Dramani Mahama on Friday, April 4, 2025.
The confirmation, originally scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2025, was postponed to Thursday, May 8, 2025, due to the untimely deaths of Elubo West Assembly Member Ransford Nana Otu Darko and Alaboale Assembly Member Francis Armoh, who passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
In an election conducted by officials from the Jomoro Municipal Electoral Commission at the Jomoro Municipal Assembly Hall, Benedict Boadi received 45 "YES" votes, representing 98%, compared to 1 "NO" vote.
