Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of the (NDC), has successfully mediated a resolution to the leadership crisis at the Dome Market in the Greater Accra Region, prompting celebrations among hundreds of market women. The prolonged dispute within the Dome Market Traders Association had led to a division in the market's leadership, with two factions emerging one led by Madam Evelyn Abena Sebie and the other by Madam Felicia Karley Amui each claiming to be the legitimate market queen. During a durbar organized to welcome Prof. Opoku-Agyemang to the Dome Market in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency on Monday, August 19, as part of her tour of markets in the Greater Accra Region, the tension between the two factions became evident.
