In a shocking turn of events in Twifo Praso, Central Region, two young girls, aged 15 and 8, have been accused of stealing over 40,000 Ghana cedis and gold bars from a local dealership.
The theft occurred on Tuesday, 28th January, when the girls visited the shop under the pretext of buying mercury.
While the shop attendant briefly stepped away to attend to other tasks, the girls took advantage of the situation.
CCTV footage shows the older girl, dressed in yellow, sneaking behind the counter and unlocking a drawer with a key left inside.
