Former Assin Central lawmaker and 2028 NPP flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, has been captured in a viral video recording making what some netizens have described as "religious rants" against former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Addressing a group of people, Kennedy Agyapong questioned the legitimacy of the return of Dr Bawumia to lead the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking to what appeared to be a section of the NPP grassroots who have thrown their weight behind him, Kennedy Agyapong appealed to the party to elect him in their next internal election. "If they want power, Ghanaians say it is only Kennedy Agyapong they will vote for." "Do you want to remain home for another 4 years or 8 years?
