Kwesi Appiah, head coach of Sudan's Falcons of Jediane, is prepared to lead his side in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The former Black Stars coach successfully guided Sudan to their first AFCON since 2021, emerging from Group F ahead of Ghana and Niger with an impressive qualification campaign.
Sudan, the 1970 AFCON champions, have been drawn in a challenging Group E alongside 2019 champions Algeria, Burkina Faso, and Equatorial Guinea.
This marks Appiah's second stint at the tournament as a head coach, having previously led Ghana to the round of 16 in 2019.
