The final wish of Nigerian billionaire philanthropist Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata-to be buried in the holy city of Madina-has been granted, following official clearance by the Saudi Arabian authorities.

Dantata, a highly respected businessman and patriarch of the prominent Dantata family, passed away on the night of Friday, June 27, at a hospital in Abu Dhabi after a brief illness.

He was 94 years old.

In a statement shared via Facebook, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the late philanthropist's personal secretary, confirmed the development with words of gratitude: "Praise be to God, praise be to God, praise be to God.
