The Chairperson gave the advice when the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, appeared before the committee to answer questions pertaining to several assurances to implement a number of policies and programmes of the ministry from 2025.
During the interaction, the minister told the committee that out of the 100,000 persons who went through aptitude and medical tests, 1,300 tested positive for HIV.
