Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on July 1, 2026, Obiri Boahen stated that if Kennedy Agyapong feels tired of the party, he should simply leave rather than resort to threats and intimidation against its members.
He emphasised that while he does not support dismissing Kennedy through the party’s disciplinary committee, he believes Kennedy should step aside if he no longer wishes to continue with the party.
