Veteran Actor Kwadwo Kwakye Reportedly Dies After Battle With Kidney Failure

Ghana’s movie industry has been plunged into mourning following the reported death of veteran Kumawood actor Kwadwo Kwakye Obuobi, who has sadly passed away after a prolonged battle with kidney failure.

The Member of Parliament for Juaben, Francis Owusu-Akyaw, donated GH¢20,000, which was presented on his behalf by actress Matilda Asare as efforts intensified to help the veteran actor receive the life-saving kidney transplant.

Kumawood actor Kojo Nkansah LilWin donated GH¢10,000 towards his medical expenses, while veteran actress Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu contributed GH¢50,000 and passionately appealed to Ghanaians to support the actor in his fight for survival.
