American-Ghanaian comedian Michael Blackson has publicly criticised the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) following the death of his mother, who was reportedly 83.

He wrote that, in his opinion, UGMC is “the worst hospital in Ghana” and claimed its staff “have no clue what they are doing”.
