Settle political differences within your party and not in public - Frema Opare urges politicians

Speaking at the "Time with a Politician" programme organised by the Department of Political Science at the University of Ghana in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Ghana Office on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Osei-Opare stressed that internal party challenges should be addressed through dialogue and established party mechanisms.

She further advised party members not to abandon their political parties because of disagreements, noting that opinions that may not be appreciated today could be better understood in the future.

He noted that while students spend considerable time studying political institutions, parties and governance theories, much of politics takes place through negotiations, conversations and decision-making processes that are rarely visible to the public.
