According to a post by Crime Check on August 2, 2026, G/Sgt Isaac Asare Mensah, who is currently in custody, was arrested following reports that he collected electronic cash (e-cash) from the vendors but failed to make the corresponding physical cash payments."According to reports, he collected e-cash from them and bolted without paying the physical cash.
