Police Arrest Kwadwo Safo Akofena and Two Others Over Shooting Incident Involving Adwoa Safo

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Israel Kwadwo Safo, popularly known as Akofena, in connection with the shooting incident involving former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo.
Earlier, the Police arrested six private security guards in connection with the case, while the Ministry of the Interior has since suspended the operating licence of Kantanka Security Services Limited pending the outcome of investigations.
Photos released by the Ghana Police Service showed the suspects in custody as well as some of the firearms, ammunition and other items retrieved during the operation.
