Parents urged to take keen interest in children's school selection process

Ledzokuku Municipal Director of Education, Theresa Tetteh The Ledzokuku Municipal Director of Education, Theresa Tetteh, has appealed to parents to take a keen interest in the upcoming school selection process to ensure that they select the right schools for their children and wards and avoid mistakes.

Following the release of the results, qualified candidates are required to select a Senior High School, a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) school, or a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution of their choice.

Tetteh made the appeal when she delivered her welcome address at a one-day sensitisation workshop on the 2026 school selection and placement process for headteachers and in-school guidance and counselling coordinators from public and private basic schools in the Ledzokuku Municipality on Thursday.
