Over 100km cleared for Accra-Kumasi expressway project - GAF

3D image of Accra-Kumasi expressway The Ghana Armed Forces has announced that more than half of the corridor for the proposed Accra–Kumasi Expressway has been cleared, marking a major milestone in the preparatory phase of the project.

According to Col Alex Twumasi , “This phase of clearing and stripping the right of way is scheduled to be completed in 20 weeks, and it is intended to create the conditions for the commencement of the Accra-Kumasi Expressway,” he said.

The GAF Engineers have been tasked with executing one of the most important phases of the Accra-Kumasi Expressway project, and that is clearing and stripping the right of way covering a distance of 175.
